Welcome to the Pheasant

Established in 1949, The Pheasant has more than six decades of memories the rear-view mirror. Our dedicated team continues to strive to offer guests something new and unexpected as we truck forward.

Prepare yourself for a classic, upscale-casual dining experience with local flair and feed your soul with some inspired SoDak eats like pheasant meat salad wraps, bison burgers and steaks, local lamb. duck wings, spätzle, and our famous homemade ice cream! Of course, we have the staples, too: burgers, steaks, salads, and café classics like hot roast beef sandwiches. The Pheasant also now serves stuffed Nordic waffles (with a SoDak accent) every Saturday and Sunday. Nordic Waffles are soft and crêpe-like, made with wholesome ingredients, a whisper of cardamom, and farm-fresh eggs.

While you’re here, make a stop in Pheasant Cellar and Oil & Vinegar Tasting Bar to sample over 40 varieties of fresh, authentic olive oils and balsamics, and shop our extensive retail wine selection!
